College and career readiness and success are key priorities for educators, workforce communities, and the nation.

Access and Opportunity aims to develop and facilitate initiatives and projects that support change designed to accelerate student learning, narrow achievement gaps, and ensure that  ALL underrepresented students, along with their counterparts, graduate ready to succeed in college and careers.

Building upon research-based strategies and processes and partnerships with universities, municipalities, and faith-based organizations, A & O maintains a laser-like focus on equity and access for all students. Not only are initiatives focused on supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally, but A & O is also committed to increasing the capacity of teachers and leaders within OCPS to collaboratively work toward narrowing the achievement gap that plagues our nation, our state and our schools.
