November 18, 2022: Potential Applicant Orientation will be held in Conference Room A at the Ronald Blocker Educational Leadership Center (RBELC), 445 W. Amelia Street, Orlando, FL 32801, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This orientation is designed to advise potential charter applicants of the application process aligned with Florida Statutes and will include tips on applying for a charter within Orange County. Please call 407.317.3484 ext. 2024184 to RSVP if you plan on attending this meeting no later than Friday, November 11 , 2022.
December 1, 2022: Letter of Intent to the Charter Office declaring the intent to submit a charter school application for the February 1, 2023. It is understood that applications can be submitted at any time. Please include the intended name of the school, program, grade levels, and the location, if known. Please forward the letter to Dr. Kia Scott, Senior Director, School Choice Services.
February 1, 2023: Application deadline is on or before February 1, 2023 school year. Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Please see the Application Instructions tab for additional required information. Schools approved during this cycle would open August 2023.
