Investing in our children today to strengthen our community tomorrow

The strength of tomorrow's Central Florida community depends largely on the quality of education students receive today. Orange County educators believe that the school system and the community must work together to provide quality education.

This 2023-2024 school year the ADDitions School Volunteer program is celebrating it's 53nd Anniversary, and the Partners in Education program marks it's 43nd Anniversary! Join us today and make a difference in the lives of our youth.

My Brother's Keeper

You Can Help Decrease the Achievement Gap!

President Obama launched the My Brother's Keeper (MBK) Initiative in February 2014 to address persistent opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color and to ensure that all young people realize their full potential. OCPS Superintendent, Dr. Maria Vazquez, in conjunction with other members of the Council of Great City Schools, has accepted the challenge to support targeted students with the mentorship needed to become college and career ready. The OCPS Access and Opportunity Office has developed best practices and expectations for the successful implementation of this initiative at the school level.

We are looking for Mentors . . .
Mentors are responsible adults who care, listen, and offer encouragement. Mentors are ordinary people, partners who have one thing in common - a commitment to making the world a better place for our children.
